M1 Passive speakers, The Alesis M1 passive 2-way studio monitor speakers (pair) can be used in professional and home studios. They feature a 6.5" polypropylene woofer that has a mineral filled cone. This is used to create a tighter and more accurate bass response. The M-1 passive studio monitor is magnetically sheilded so you don't have to worry about it be positioned near a computer or tv monitor. The speaker cabinet has a "SuperPort" venting which allows the woofer to respond faster to transients. The Monitor 1's are 'mirrored', meaning that there are two different speaker cabinets each designed for the left and right respectively.
